* They sometimes found especially challenging (to impossible) to reproduce or even understand some of them.
* Some technological tools and guns are of a recent construction, though they are heavily inspired by ruined scavenged guns.
* Although most of the item names have been passed down from person to person (sometimes a bit distorted), a lot of information is lost to the average person, including the former country of their original maker.
* To channel the magical powers of Predation weapons, many fake weapons, sometimes hightly extravaguant, were built (a form of cargo cult). They could also have have served as educational toys or tools of deception.
* Due to the high resemblance to Predation electrical apparels (drills, speed ticket scanners, grocery store scanner guns, etc.), hi-tech weapons are often confused with them.
This list contains many improvised weapons, to account for the highly creative efforts conducted by the wastelanders to defend themselves. It almost constitute a form of cultural heritage of sort.
