Firearms[edit | edit source]

Many inhabitants of the wasteland developped, over time, a quasi-religious relation to Predation guns of all kinds, repairing them endlessly.

  • They sometimes found especially challenging (to impossible) to reproduce or even understand some of them.
  • Some guns here are of a recent construction, though they are heavily inspired by ruined scavenged guns.
  • Although most gun nicknames were passed from one person to another (sometimes deformed a bit), a lot of informations on them are just lost to common people, including their original maker's ex-country.
  • To channel the magical powers of Predation weapons, many fake weapons, sometimes hightly extravaguant, were built (a form of cargo cult). They could also have have served as educational toys or tools of deception.
  • Due to the high resemblance to Predation electrical apparels (drills, speed ticket scanners, grocery store scanner guns, etc.), hi-tech weapons are often confused with them.

This list contains many improvised weapons, to account for the highly creative efforts conducted by the wastelanders to defend themselves. It almost constitute a form of cultural heritage of sort.

Toys[edit | edit source]

Although they present some danger, the toys are not deadly. They always require 2 in Intelligence.

Pistols[edit | edit source]

Firearms that can be fired with one hand. Requires the Skill Pistol. They always require 2 in Intelligence and may require some Strength points. These firearms (and their ammunition) are the easiest to find and the most convenient to use.

Guns[edit | edit source]

Relatively simple firearms that require both hands to fire. Requires the Skill Rifle. They always require 2 in Intelligence and may require some Strength points. These are the most versatile and diverse firearms, although they are less powerful than heavy weapons.

Big guns[edit | edit source]

Military, technological or highly complex weapons. Requires the Skill Big guns. They always require 2 in Intelligence and may require some Strength points. These weapons are the most powerful, but also the rarest, with ammunitions that are also difficult to find.
